If you want to know if someone is looking at you, start yawning - they won't be able to help themselves and start yawning too.
2. How to stop conflict
When you got into an argument instead of going to your house or on a walk in park pick a restaurant or a hot dog stand and eat! Once you have the food in front of you, your focus will be split between the issue and the food you are about to eat. The food is a great distraction and can relieve tension.
3. How to get someone to tell you more
Try staying silent while they speak. After you ask a question, stop talking and let them answer the question. When there is silence the other person is more likely to talk and fill up the gap and will probably say more than they would like to.
4. Make someone feel they are important
Use their name when you first speak to them. “Oh hello Martin! Nice to meet you” and continuously use their name during a conversation. They will feel special and most likely they will start like you more because they feel they are important to you.
5. Get someone to help you do something
Instead of asking the person point-blank if they can help you, pose a false dilemma. “Would be better for you to help me move the furniture in the morning or in the afternoon”. The person will most likely choose whichever time is more suitable and they never had a chance to say no.
6. Get people to believe in you
Whatever you say, say confidently. Avoid phrases like "I think".
"I think there is a good restaurant around the corner"
or
"There is a good restaurant around the corner"
7. Affirmative answer
Try to nod subtly as you make your request. Often used in restaurants by waiters when they offer you deserts.
